차이점과 유사점이 [왜] 생겨나고 그 과정에서 [무엇]이 중요한 것인지를 정의한다는 것은 한편으로 부담스럽고 어려운 과정을 거칠 수 있지만, 우리가 공유하고 있는 건축프로세스의 과제를 하나 하나 작은 단위로 구분해서 그 작은 답들을 퍼즐처럼 조합한다면 생각보다 합리적일 수 있는 대안이 만들어 질 수 있다고 생각합니다.
[BRANZ]가 지속적인 방향성을 가지고 제시하는 과제들이 바로 그러한 영역일 수 있습니다. 건축물은 각각의 시대와 사람들의 처한 상황과 취향, 그리고 의지가 반영된 공간들입니다. 그렇기 때문에, 지금의 시대를 살고 있는 우리가 방향성을 정해놓아야 그 바턍에서 만들어지는 건축물이 이 시대를 담아낼 수 있는 것은 아닌가 생각합니다. 우리가 미루고 있는 것들이 있다면, 이 시대의 건축물은 반쪽자리 일 수 있습니다.
